Like “Stranger in a Strange Land”, a New Jersey couple opens a gourmet Italian restaurant in the very rural and southern town of Henry, Tennessee.
While trying to blend in and raise their family and tend to their animals on their new farm they encounter the inherent struggles of being entrepreneurs .
Chef Andy has been a chef for 30 years. He was born and raised in Upstate NY where he started cooking in his parents restaurant, called "Andy's Place." He then moved on to accept a European Apprenticeship in Culinary Arts. He met Janice in New Jersey and they knew one day they would own a restaurant together. Life led the Yeomans to rural Henry Tennessee. They wanted to give back to the community that accepted them so kindly, which led to "The Family Table".
Andy's wife Janice is the backbone and the rock that supports Andy and his dreams.
Janice grew up in NJ where she spent most of her time in the medical field.
Later she went on to graduate Cum Laude with a Degree in Business.
